El bardo, figura de tr\u00e1gico y misterioso perfil, representa un plano ideal y un modelo moral, proyect\u00e1ndose en la figura del poeta. Cuando vimos el ossianismo, hablamos del bardo pondali\u00e1n. \u00c9ste aparece estrechamente relacionado con el canto para expresar a trav\u00e9s de \u00e9l la memoria del pueblo y su destino:<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><font color=\"#333399\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Sinxela rapaceta,<br \/>\nnon me te\u00f1as temor<br \/>\nnon son un vagamundo,<br \/>\nnon son ning\u00fan ladr\u00f3n.<br \/>\nXerogl\u00edfico ousado<br \/>\ndo limo so\u00f1ador<br \/>\nvou e, ignoto a min mesmo,<br \/>\nescuro enigma eu son.<\/font><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Siendo superior a los mortales, aparece distinguido con trazos f\u00edsicos identificados con su retrato moral: vestido de forma extra\u00f1a, barba crecida, semblante p\u00e1lido. Otros aspectos que lo caracterizan son la memoria y la melancol\u00eda.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#993300\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La conciencia de pueblo<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Relacionado estrechamente con el bardo aparece el sentimiento de libertad, tanto en el plano individual como en el colectivo. El bardo es el portador de la dignidad de su pueblo y de sus signos de identidad. Su prop\u00f3sito ser\u00e1 despertar la conciencia de aquel. Debemos tener en cuenta que la poes\u00eda de Pondal se sit\u00faa en el contexto hist\u00f3rico del \u00abRexurdimento\u00bb pleno, en que se conjuga el deseo de la restauraci\u00f3n cultural y ling\u00fc\u00edstica con el prop\u00f3sito de una organizaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de car\u00e1cter regionalista. Y tambi\u00e9n debemos considerar el propio ideal federalista de Pondal, la uni\u00f3n de los pueblos ib\u00e9ricos y el destino hist\u00f3rico de Galicia en ese proyecto.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#993300\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La defensa del idioma<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La defensa de la lengua es un tema recurrente en la poes\u00eda gallega desde el siglo XVIII. En la obra de Pondal se muestra el tono idealista propio de su obra, denunciando la situaci\u00f3n del gallego, lengua de esclavos, olvidadda por los propios hijos. El gallego es calificado en Pondal como aquel de los patrios acentos o de los dulces acentos, opuesto a las extra\u00f1as palabras de siervos, ignorantes y oscuros.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Esta actitud es coherente con el esfuerzo del poeta por dignificar el gallego, especialmente en el campo de la creaci\u00f3n literaria, preocup\u00e1ndose del escollo l\u00e9xico, introduciendo cultismos y cultivando una especial sonoridad.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#993300\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La melancol\u00eda<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La melancol\u00eda pondaliana, desde un plano esencialmente literario, se puede interpretar como la p\u00e9rdida de la patria o de la libertad, valores abstractos sobre los qaue se proyecta el yo po\u00e9tico. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 relacionada con la figura del bardo, en tanto que es un ser incomprendido y tr\u00e1gico.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Aparece, pues, como punto de encuentro de dos l\u00edneas: una, en el contexto de la realidad hist\u00f3rica y social gallega del siglo XIX, como manifestaci\u00f3n de un poeta dotado de una conciencia superior a lo com\u00fan, culto e idealista, con responsabilidad moral relacionada con un fondo ideol\u00f3gico y de compromiso c\u00edvico; la otra, como tendencia del poeta a la turbaci\u00f3n y la tristeza.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Relacionados con la melancol\u00eda aparecen tambi\u00e9n la preocupaci\u00f3n por el paso del itempo y la muerte, presentada en ocasiones como ausencia del bardo.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#993300\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La invocaci\u00f3n del paisaje<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La naturaleza que Pondal presenta en sus poemas es salvaje, lejos del paisaje profundamente alterado por la cultura humana que nos presentan Rosal\u00eda de Castro y los dem\u00e1s poetas de la \u00e9poca.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">La identificaci\u00f3n del poeta con el paisaje no es s\u00f3lo afectiva, sino llena de significado m\u00edtico e hist\u00f3rico. Los seres elementales de la tierra (\u00e1rboles, aves, mam\u00edferos) o los relativos al aire (viento) y mismo aquellos relativos a la cultura humana (castros), est\u00e1n fuertemente simbolizados. Destacamos algunos de los valores simb\u00f3licos m\u00e1s interesantes:<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">&#8212; el viento, como testimonio de la historia y como expresi\u00f3n del paso del tiempo, est\u00e1 relacionado con la voz humana y la m\u00fasica (arpa).<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">&#8212; las aves (cuervos, cisnes, golondrinas&#8230;) simbolizan la libertad, el paso del tiempo, el sentimiento de nobleza, la nostalgia, la muerte y el mismo poeta.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">&#8212; toponimia: la presencia de numerosos nombres de lugares, generalmente de la regi\u00f3n de Berganti\u00f1os, indica la relaci\u00f3n del poeta con la tierra y la b\u00fasqueda de la noci\u00f3n de patria.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">&#8212; los \u00e1rboles simbolizan la revelaci\u00f3n y el sentido trascendental; la identificaci\u00f3n de los pinos con las arpas de los bardos simboliza el canto de los tiempos pasados, con valor m\u00edtico, el ideal de certeza, la soledad y la fortaleza.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\" face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Fuente de este art\u00edculo: Asociaci\u00f3n Socio-Pedag\u00f3xica Galega<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\" face=\"Arial\">&lt;&#8211; Viene de la 2\u00aa parte<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&lt;\u2013 Viene de la 1\u00aa parte Vida y obra (continuaci\u00f3n) b) Temas (continuaci\u00f3n) El bardismo La figura del bardo, poetizada e ilustrada por los rom\u00e1nticos, aparece identificada con el mismo poeta.
