{"id":424,"date":"2009-10-11T13:57:14","date_gmt":"2009-10-11T11:57:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cultureduca.com\/blog\/?p=424"},"modified":"2015-05-21T14:53:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T12:53:37","slug":"la-universidad-de-la-serena-chile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/culturblog\/la-universidad-de-la-serena-chile\/","title":{"rendered":"La Universidad de La Serena (Chile)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span class=\"historia_fecha\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u00a0Historia de la Instituci\u00f3n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"historia_fecha\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1838<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 3 de junio llega a La Serena el sabio polaco Ignacio Domeyko Ancuta, quien inicia la ense\u00f1anza profesional de la miner\u00eda en la capital regional al ser contratado por el Gobierno chileno como profesor del curso de Qu\u00edmica y Mineralog\u00eda del Instituto Departamental de Coquimbo actual Liceo de Hombres de La Serena.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"historia_texto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1874<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">Nace la Escuela Normal de Preceptoras de La Serena, creada por Decreto N\u00ba 30, promulgado por el Presidente Federico Err\u00e1zuriz Za\u00f1artu. Luego de cuatro a\u00f1os de funcionamiento esta Escuela cierra hasta su reapertura el 6 de abril de 1890, a\u00f1o en que asume su direcci\u00f3n la educadora alemana Isabel Bongard Cordes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_texto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1887<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 26 de agosto se funda la Escuela Pr\u00e1ctica de Miner\u00eda de La Serena, cuyo primer director fue Buenaventura Osorio \u00c1lvarez, continuando el legado de ense\u00f1anza de la miner\u00eda que Domeyko hab\u00eda comenzado a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s y que se caracteriz\u00f3 por una fuerte formaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica en ciencias y en disciplinas de la ingenier\u00eda, mucho trabajo de laboratorio y experiencia pr\u00e1ctica, e intensa vocaci\u00f3n de los profesores por ense\u00f1ar a los j\u00f3venes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_texto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1952<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 27 de febrero se establece la sede regional de la Universidad T\u00e9cnica del Estado de la cual pasa a formar parte la Escuela de Minas. Su primer director fue don Carlos Rey Blanco.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1957<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 27 de julio se funda en La Serena el Conservatorio Regional de M\u00fasica dependiente de la Facultad de Ciencias y Artes Musicales de la Universidad de Chile, el que se integra posteriormente a la sede local de la misma universidad. El primer director del Conservatorio fue Jorge Pe\u00f1a Hen. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1961<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 5 de junio la Universidad de Chile instala en la ciudad el Colegio Universitario Regional, el que comenz\u00f3 a impartir las carreras de pedagog\u00eda en las especialidades humanistas y cient\u00edficas. Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde el Colegio Regional se convierte en el Centro Universitario y en 1971 adquiere la categor\u00eda de sede de la Universidad de Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1974<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">La Escuela Normal de Preceptoras es traspasada a la sede regional de la Universidad de Chile.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"historia_fecha\">1981<\/span> <span class=\"historia_texto\">El 20 de marzo las ex sedes regionales de la ex Universidad T\u00e9cnica del Estado y de la Universidad de Chile se fusionan dando origen a la Universidad de La Serena, cuyo primer Rector fue don Daniel Arraigada Pineda. <\/span><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 500px; height: 10px;\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\"
