El agua en la hidrosfera puede presentarse en sus tres estados: s\u00f3lida, l\u00edquida y gaseosa, y es en los oc\u00e9anos donde se encuentra la mayor parte (alrededor del 97%); el resto (algo menos del 3%) se encuentra en los continentes formando r\u00edos, lagos, aguas subterr\u00e1neas, glaciares, y una m\u00ednima cantidad en forma de vapor de agua en la atm\u00f3sfera y biosfera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El proceso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img title=\" \"loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"237\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/images_cienc\/cienc_ciclo_hidro.jpg\" alt=\" \"><br>Ilustraci\u00f3n del ciclo del agua en la hidrosfera<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">El proceso del ciclo hidrol\u00f3gico comienza con la energ\u00eda que se recibe del Sol. Los continentes y oc\u00e9anos pierden agua por evaporaci\u00f3n, pasando ese vapor de agua a la atm\u00f3sfera y condens\u00e1ndose en forma de nubes. La saturaci\u00f3n del vapor del agua en las nubes conduce a las precipitaciones, las cuales se manifiestan en forma de lluvia, nieve o granizo, que alcanzan de nuevo los continentes y por tanto los r\u00edos y oc\u00e9anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del total de agua de las precipitaciones, un parte circula por la superficie, otra se evapora, y una tercera se infiltra en la tierra para formar el&nbsp;<em>caudal basal<\/em>, es decir, las aguas subterr\u00e1neas que alimentan los caudales de los r\u00edos cuando cesan las precipitaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img title=\" \"loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"290\" height=\"217\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/images_cienc\/cienc_evapora.jpg\" alt=\" \"><br>Una peque\u00f1a parte del agua llega a la atm\u00f3sfera en forma de vapor de agua. Adem\u00e1s de los r\u00edos, tambi\u00e9n aportan al ciclo los lagos, aguas costeras, e incluso algunas erupciones volc\u00e1nicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las aguas que tienen su destino en las corrientes subterr\u00e1neas procedentes de la lluvia, se infiltran por gravedad a trav\u00e9s de los huecos hasta una profundidad l\u00edmite, en la cual los poros rocosos est\u00e1n tan anegados o saturados que el agua no puede penetrar m\u00e1s. En el subsuelo se forman entonces dos zonas: una profunda (saturada) y otra llamada de aireaci\u00f3n o vadosa (no saturada).En la zona de aireaci\u00f3n se producen fen\u00f3menos de transpiraci\u00f3n, por una lado debido a las ra\u00edces de las plantas, y por otro a causa del ascenso del agua por capilaridad desde la zona saturada hacia la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nivel fre\u00e1tico<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A la superficie que separa la zona saturada de la zona de aireaci\u00f3n se le denomina&nbsp;<em>nivel hidrost\u00e1tico<\/em>&nbsp;o&nbsp;<em>nivel fre\u00e1tico<\/em>. Dependiendo del volumen de precipitaci\u00f3n y evacuaci\u00f3n del agua, este nivel puede variar a lo largo del tiempo. Cuando ese nivel fre\u00e1tico se aproxima a la superficie horizontal del terreno, origina zonas encharcadas o pantanosas, convirti\u00e9ndose en manantiales si aflora por un corte en el terreno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img title=\" \"decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/images_cienc\/cienc_manantial.jpg\" alt=\" \"><br>Se forma un manantial cuando el nivel fre\u00e1tico se<br>aproxima a la superficie a trav\u00e9s de un corte en el terreno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">El nivel fre\u00e1tico puede permanecer permanentemente a gran profundidad, dependiendo de las caracter\u00edsticas climatol\u00f3gicas de la regi\u00f3n, por ejemplo en los desiertos, en los cuales solamente salen a la superficie cuando existe un desnivel topogr\u00e1fico formando los oasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando las aguas consiguen asomar a la superficie, sea por capilaridad, presi\u00f3n, etc., pueden quedar bajo los efectos de la energ\u00eda del Sol, y por tanto seguir\u00e1n de nuevo el ciclo hidrol\u00f3gico en otro estado f\u00edsico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/aula\/indice-ecologia\/\"><img title=\" \"decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/logos\/1ciencia2.jpg\" alt=\" \"><br><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00cdndice Ecolog\u00eda<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El ciclo hidrol\u00f3gico es una serie de sucesivas transformaciones del estado f\u00edsico del agua que se produce en la naturaleza.
