Sin la existencia de vida sobre la superficie no habr\u00eda podido formarse, ni la propia vida desarrollarse, ya que la actual composici\u00f3n es fruto de m\u00faltiples transformaciones desde sus or\u00edgenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img title=\" \"decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/images_cienc\/cienc_atmosf_temperat.jpg\" alt=\" \"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La atm\u00f3sfera no tiene una composici\u00f3n similar en toda su extensi\u00f3n, la cual alcanza varios miles de kil\u00f3metros de altura (aunque solamente unos 100 km. son de inter\u00e9s pr\u00e1ctico) sino que dependiendo de la temperatura o reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de sus componentes, presenta diferencias que pueden ser estructuradas en capas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La composici\u00f3n b\u00e1sica de la atm\u00f3sfera es: 78% de nitr\u00f3geno, 20% de ox\u00edgeno, 0,9% de arg\u00f3n y 1,1% de otros gases entre los que se encuentran el di\u00f3xido de carbono, \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno, metano y vapor de agua; suponen casi el 100% del volumen del aire en la atm\u00f3sfera a una altura de 80 km., procedentes de la superficie de la Tierra. Existen adem\u00e1s part\u00edculas s\u00f3lidas y l\u00edquidas en suspensi\u00f3n (vapor de agua, polvo y otros gases); una de las m\u00e1s importantes es el cloruro de sodio, que se distribuye mediante las corrientes de aireaci\u00f3n de los oc\u00e9anos, facilitando la condensaci\u00f3n y precipitaci\u00f3n; un 20% de las part\u00edculas en suspensi\u00f3n tienen su origen en las actividades humanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La estabilidad de la atm\u00f3sfera; los ciclos del carbono y del nitr\u00f3geno<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La estabilidad de la composici\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica se basa en la diversidad de la vida que alberga la Tierra, y en los ciclos del carbono y el nitr\u00f3geno. Mediante el primero, el di\u00f3xido de carbono que producen los&nbsp;animales&nbsp;es utilizado por los vegetales, los cuales, tras la fotos\u00edntesis, retienen la mol\u00e9cula del carbono y devuelven ox\u00edgeno a la atm\u00f3sfera que ser\u00e1 posteriormente utilizado por los&nbsp;animales&nbsp;para respirar. Por su parte, el ciclo del nitr\u00f3geno se mantiene constante gracias a&nbsp;animales&nbsp;y plantas, que lo mantienen en circulaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la biomasa, la litosfera y la propia atm\u00f3sfera. Esa estabilidad de la atm\u00f3sfera podr\u00eda alterarse mediante las actividades humanas, los cuales ingresan en ese medio sustancias que le son ajenas, y que no pueden ser depuradas a mayor velocidad de lo que son generadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Las capas de la atm\u00f3sfera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como se dijo, se puede dividir la atm\u00f3sfera terrestre en capas seg\u00fan su temperatura. As\u00ed, se distinguen las siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troposfera<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La troposfera es la porci\u00f3n m\u00e1s baja en contacto con la superficie terrestre; tiene aproximadamente 11 kil\u00f3metros de espesor. En esta capa, debido a las corrientes de convecci\u00f3n, los gases tienen movimientos omnidireccionales. El tiempo mas turbulento ocurre precisamente en esta capa de la atm\u00f3sfera. La energ\u00eda solar que alcanza La Tierra es absorbida como calor por la superficie terrestre, y soltada despu\u00e9s en una longitud de onda m\u00e1s larga como calor en el espectro infrarrojo. Aproximadamente 175.000 millones de megavatios alcanzan La Tierra provenientes del Sol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor parte de esta energ\u00eda es luz visible. Cerca de la mitad llega hasta la superficie; la otra mitad es absorbida por la atm\u00f3sfera, reflejada por las nubes, por el polvo atmosf\u00e9rico o por la propia tierra. La troposfera contiene mucho vapor de agua; el vapor de agua absorbe la radiaci\u00f3n infrarroja y esto significa que el calor queda cerca de la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con distancias crecientes a la superficie terrestre hay menos vapor de agua que retenga el calor, as\u00ed, los escapes de energ\u00eda infrarroja y disminuci\u00f3n de temperatura en la estratosfera crece con la altitud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/aula\/indice-ecologia\/\"><img title=\" \"decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/natureduca.com\/logos\/1ciencia2.jpg\" alt=\" \"><br><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00cdndice Ecolog\u00eda<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introducci\u00f3n La atm\u00f3sfera de la Tierra no tiene parang\u00f3n en ning\u00fan otro planeta de nuestro sistema solar.
